Who can benefit from a Ready to Hope Workshop

All this month we are talking about mental health trends in 2025, and also about how we are doing our part to support young people as they strive to attain and maintain their own mental wellness.
Today we turn our attention to the question: who can benefit from a Ready to Hope workshop?
The short answer is: anyone.
But there is a longer answer, with a few more details, so let’s look at those details.

A Ready to Hope workshop is not intended to be group therapy
If you don’t feel like you want to go to group therapy, that’s good, because that’s not what you’ll be getting!
While we do have the backing and expertise of a trained mental health counselor in our design and as our primary facilitator, the goal is not that we are doing group therapy.
In other words: the workshop is not meant to replace counseling or therapy.

What the workshop can do:
It can be an additional support if you are already doing some good work in counseling.
If you’re working on your stuff with a trained mental health professional, we are so happy to hear this!
What you can get from a workshop is all the tools and support and community and connections and resources that will support your mental wellness, just like it would for any other individual who walks through the doors.
It can be a source of support if you don’t think you really need counseling but know you’d love to feel like you are taking better care of your mental health.

This is important to hear:
While a workshop isn’t intended to be group therapy, it can be very therapeutic.
So much of the struggles that many of us face with our mental health come down to one thing:
Loneliness.
Feeling like you are alone in your struggles make the struggles so much bigger.
It’s easy to think no one else is dealing with what you’re dealing with. You’re the only one who has these issues. You’re the only one who feels alone with this pain or these difficult emotions.
But the truth is? You are so not alone.
Everyone has something they’re dealing with.
And when you realize that, by hearing others literally say it- there is so much power in that.
So much healing begins just with feeling like you are not alone.
So what can a workshop do? If you feel like you are more often sad or more often anxious or more often lonely than you would like, workshops are designed to help you through those feelings!

So then who can benefit from a Ready to Hope Workshop?
The actual short answer: anyone who wants to feel more connected and anyone who wants to feel like they are better equipped to cope when life gets tough.
Is that you?
If it is, we’d love to have you join us!
Workshops are meant to be attended as often as you desire. You can come once, come to every one, or come when you feel like you just need to connect and remember how and why you want to take care of yourself.
