What to expect in a Ready to Hope Workshop

We are so excited to be kicking off workshops in 2025!
So we figured: if we’re gonna put out invitations, we should probably be sure people understand what a workshop is all about, right?
So let’s do just that.

First: come as you are.
The first thing you want to know about a RTH workshop is that it’s casual. Acceptance and non-judgment are our highest priorities.
Show up in whatever state you desire. Wear your pj’s if it helps you feel comfortable and open, we don’t care.
What you’ll see when you arrive: a comfortable space. Water and snacks. People like you who desire to connect and find resources and tools to support their mental wellness.

Second: bring what’s on your heart and mind.
So the goal is for you to be able to bring whatever’s stressing you out or bothering you, and to have a place to talk it out. In so doing, you can get support, you can hear from others who have been in your shoes or may have a similar experience to share, and you can learn about tools or resources to help you get to the other side.
However: you can also just bring you.
What we mean to say is this: these workshops are about discussion, but you will never feel pressured to spill your deepest secrets and struggles. You can just come for the community and the snacks.
And if no one has anything pressing or no one has anything they feel ready to share, then the facilitators will toss out subjects for discussion.

Third: take what you need.
Come as you are. Bring what you have. Take what you need.
RTH workshops are about you leaving feeling more equipped for life.
The goal is that you feel that you’ve built some connections and that ideally the next time you need to talk to someone, there’s someone in that group that you feel comfortable reaching out to.
The goal is that you’ve learned something about yourself as far as what tools and resources you feel are useful and helpful, and the next time you find yourself in need of a little clarity or a mood boost, you are able to access the activities or practices that help you in the moment.

So, what to expect?
You can expect:
- A judgment-free space
- A warm and welcoming space
- Discussion
- Snacks
- Safety
- Resources
- Connections

It’s pretty relaxed and yet pretty powerful.
And we would love for you to experience it!
